I just finished watching 10 dvds of this series and I am confused that they never resolved what happened to this kid. Did I phase out and miss it? Or is there more episodes to this show that aren't on dvd yet? Last I saw of him he was painting a picture in a classroom in Horai and talking to that other girl that had returned from the 12k and he said he had forgotten to do something. Later in the show it was mentioned how the kingdom of Tai was still in disarray even though a new king had been chosen. It seems like there is a big chunk of missing story.

No, they never really got back to that story. It's my understanding they cut the series a little short, so that may account for it.

That's basically what it is. Never got animated, unfortunately, though the novels apparently cover it. Given how old 12K is now, I doubt it'll ever be animated either. Good arc nonetheless though.

I think everyone in politics should be forced to watch this series. Of course if they had any brains you wouldn't have to force them. But then if they had any brains they wouldn't be in politics.
