The official Japanese website for the Precure anime movies has announced that a special fifth-anniversary feature film will open in Japan next spring. The tentatively titled Precure All Stars film will assemble the cast from all five of the Precure magical girl television anime series to mark the occassion.

The Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai has issued retail solicitations for several items tied to "New Precure (Precure Follow-up)" — thus confirming that a new Precure television series will premiere on February 1, 2009
I can't speak for others, but I kind of like this news. Although with so many Cures already in existence, it's curious how they'll handle the challenge. Hmm I wonder if they'll pull fun what if scenarios. Like can Cure Black and Cure Egret work together? Oh I hope they have True Windy and True Bloom in it, which is what I like to refer to them as even if likely inaccurate.
Granted it could turn out to be bad, but I'm curious enough to find out what it ends up being like. Plus at least it will give a chance to see Honoka and Nagisa again. I just hope the movie is balanced and they don't pull a case of having 90% of the Cures just be either cheerleaders or sidelined.
As for the new TV series, I'll wait and see how it goes. I'll miss Milky Rose, but I must always remember it's because they change the guard on occasion that I end up with new characters to be fans of. So it will be interesting to see what this new series will provide me with. I mean besides an endless cycle of Pretty Cure to collect if/when reasonably priced sets start coming out and I can fit them in the budget.
Hopefully better images of the girls will come out soon. Still the girl I can make out is kind of cute and she has short twin tails. I approve of that. In any case for now while I wait for news, I'll continue to focus on Yes 5 Go Go.
