At the time the poll closed, both releases ended up tied with 107 votes apiece.

Unfortunately, the authoring department left Karin covered in bad sectors. There's a damaged area at the end of each episode again, and this time it's bad enough that my player has to skip about 15 seconds' worth of stuff. Sure, it could be worse — it's just the narrator telling me that Karin's a bit odd for a vampire — but it's the principle of the thing. Damn it.

Another week of no purchases. I think I may have been one of the few people who actually bought the singles of Happy Lesson season 1. And the new box is not complete as it says. There was a second season and 3 OVAs made after the first season to close out the series.

Interesting....I had no problems with my copy. Maybe it's just a select few.
Nah, it's not. It's that some copy-protection schemes really screw up on certain players and play just fine on others. I've heard of people having serious issues with Higurashi and Saiunkoku, both of which have been playing perfectly for me. And that's part of the problem: It shouldn't affect anybody. If it is affecting even a few people adversely, it should be stopped. But as I mentioned to one person in a PT, these discs were all authored last year before and during Geneon's vacation, so it's not as if they were going to pulp a bunch of discs at this late date.

It was one of the victims of ADV's collapse, and unlike Funimation in the US, no one in the UK has got round to rescuing it. Only one volume was released earlier this year.

Epect me to be importing the Welcome to the NHK boxsets come the New Year as well. Stupid Sojitz!

Well, third. RE and LE versions of a show are combined because they're the same episodes, and people are only going to buy one or the other but they're still buying Vol. 1 either way.

Same here, considering the fact that the movie is not action-based at all (once again it's heavy on the dialog and that will turn off a good amount of people).

But if you like 80s flicks then Toward the Terra is worth watching just once to make up your mind. Then again there's the TV series that Bandai is bringing over to the US (not that popular as I herd).

Terra is probably not that popular in the general scheme of things, but on these forums the TV series has a fair share of fans and the part 1 and part 2 releases have had very strong showings in the polls. Hell, I think part 1 even won pick of the week. A lot of those who picked up the TV series here will naturally show interest in the movie as well, even though it is older.
