Has anyone bought the new Air Blu-Ray set??

It's the same as the old set, just new packaging.

Is the set region locked ? Because evry disc of the set gives the same error. And the eror is, It starts normal but when the ps3 catch the signal of the disc i see a few sec config and in the other side of the botem of the screen play icoon quiky change in stop icoon and nothing about region locked or disc eror. If anybody has a little info about this too help me i will be very happy. :bigsmile:

Two Questions:

1. Does anyone have any screencaps to show the quality of the video?

2. Is this a limited time set like the first one?

I would suggest that you not buy this if you are interested in the video quality; while I do not have images to demonstrate, it just looks slightly brighter than the R1 DVDs. Also, the edges are either sharper or more jagged, depending on whether you consider it a positive thing.

(The exception is, of course, the redone opening on the 4th disc. Which is the only part of it I'll watch anymore... without subtitles, I had to do some novel synchronization with playing the R1 DVDs on my computer while the Blu-Ray was playing on the TV to hear the English audio and understand the show.)

Actually, come to think of it, I meant to sell mine, until I dropped the DVD case and it broke. So I'm keeping them and that's another story anyway...

I'm gonna have to disagree with you.

All things considered with this being an upscale I think the video is just fine. Yeah sometimes the charecters can be a bit jagged, but most everything else is pretty sharp, and its legions betters than ADVs crappy release.

Not to mention the updated packaging is brilliant and the audio is fantastic.

I get why your playing the english audio in the backround with your PC but your really missing out with that PCM track they did.
