Angel Heart Premium Boxes.

Has anyone seen the Angel Heart DVDs from the Premium Boxes? CDJ says it has extra scenes not shown on TV. Are they any different/better?

Also I noticed that AH is distributed by Sony. Would that make R1 a better possibility?

If the fansub base is anything to go by, and if distributors do look at fansub downloads (which they do), then I'd think the chances pretty unlikely.

Sadly you're right. Add to this that City Hunter didn't do that well to inspire ADV or any R1 company to re-license it, let alone licensing Angel Heart :depressed:

That is to say that neither City Hunter nor Angel Heart (especially the latter) are R1 licensing materials.

I would have thought CH & Angel Heart (more serious) are US licensing material. Guns, macho heroics, sexy women, shoot-outs - less violent than Black Lagoon & Baccanno, but full of action. Angel Heart is girl-with-gun stuff as well.

I was actually thinking of picking the premium sets myself from hmv jp. I wish someone would license this too. The drama is strong, especially going into it after watching the CH series (which has nothing to do with AH).

Well it looks like that but it's more deep. IMO the only company that i can think of licensing AH is MB (if ever). But i personally don't see CH or AH getting licensed/re-licensed.
