It's that time again to post what imports y'all are gettin' this February-2009.

In these still unfavorable exchange-rate times, I'm only importing the best anime:

As such, it will also most likely be my final R2J-purchase for the year.

Unless, of course, they put out cheaper collection-sets for Miyuki, Hiatari Ryoko, and/or H2 this year or so. :sd: :cool:

Hmm... in such "unfavorable exchange-rate times" I tend to shift my purchases from dealers with prices in Yen (like HMV.co.jp) to dealers who deal solely in USD (like YesAsia.com). It's not always cheaper, but it's usually less confusing or depressing for me.

The release of this Saber (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/goods/goods_detail.html?KEY=NEOGDS-962) figure was delayed, so now it's a February item. I added this Shiki (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/goods/goods_detail.html?KEY=NEOGDS-572) to the order to keep Saber company on the long flight over. ;)

Decided to check out Tora Dora! 1 (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=KIBA-91596); it was a last minute decision though,and both Amazon and HMV were out of the limited edition when I was looking to order it. Also included Natsume Yujin Cho soundtrack (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=SVWC-7580), Ouran HS Host Club soundtrack and character song collection II (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=VPCG-84844), and Rozen Maiden "best album" (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=LHCA-5072) to cut the per item shipping cost.

Around the end of the month, I'll be looking forward to Kodomo no Jikan (oav) 1 (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BCBA-3369), the re-release of this Eri Sawachika dakimakura (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/goods/goods_detail.html?KEY=NEOGDS-3197), and a t-shirt from Strike Witches (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/goods/goods_detail.html?KEY=NEOGDS-3737).

Haven't ordered them yet, but I'll also be getting the final DVDs for Natsume Yujin Cho (1rst series), Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (1rst series), and Strike Witches. And if Tora Dora! scene 1 makes a favorable impression, then I'll pick up scene 2 as well.

Kannagi arrived today.. but for some reason it came via airmail, direct from Hong Kong. I wasn't charged as they scribbed sonething that looks like $5 on it, but it is worrying and I hope it doesn't happen again as the only reason I use Yesasia is because they reship within the UK.
