2) If someone has already posted about an episode before you, please respond to that post (or a relevant reply to that post). Keep in the right subthread.

I'm calling it Comic OVA because that's what the official website calls it. I'm including it in this thread because it uses the second season logo.

(I just loved this chapter in the manga. Loved it!)

Diomedia (formerly Studio Barcelona, the guys that produced Nogizaka Haruka) is obviously not a top studio, but you can tell that they at least care about the stuff they adapt. The animation was average and so was most of the directing, but they got the essence of the story just right.

This is all about Shirai-sensei and the focus on her less-than-perfect past. It could come across as cliched, and well, it is. But the author gives some very nice details that makes it hard not to care. I usually see the "I used to be a social reject" back story as a footnote portrayed in a very short sequence (sometimes even just as simple stills) and that makes it easy to disregard it. But here we get some nuggets that make it more alive.

Well, all in all, this was great. I'm not sure what will the next OVA adapt, but I'm anxiously waiting for it anyway since there are still very good parts of the manga out there.
