So its a guy that's in pink on 00 vol.1's cover. No girls.

Are there any female Gundam pilots in 00?

Are there any in Wing?

What female pilots are there in all the others?

I know from the UC reality;

Hamann Kahn (Z & ZZ)
Emma Sheen (Z)
Nina Purpleton (0083)
Fa Yuiry (Z)
Reccoa (Z)
Mauer (Z)
Four Murasume (Z)
Sarah (Z)
Rosamunde (Z)
Loux Luca (ZZ)
Elle (ZZ)
Kara Soon (ZZ)
Elpeo Plus (ZZ)
Quess Paraya :puke: (CCA)
Chan (CCA)
Karen (MS 08th)

Heven't seen Turn A, Gundam X or Victory.

Are there any in Wing?

Lucrezia Noin
Lady Une
Dorothy Catalonia

I believe those were the only three (all are major characters), though I can't be completely sure as it's been years since I watched it last.

I cant remember Dorothy pilotting a machine but Noin and Une did for certain.
Also Duo's friend Hilde Schbeiker was a pilot and so was Major Sally Po.
One Im not sure of is Mariemaia Khushrenada/Barton in GW: Endless Waltz she may have been in a mobile suit but I cant say one way or the other.

Unless I'm mistaken, Nina wasn't a pilot, she was just a technician/engineer (though she was apparently capable of piloting a core fighter- marginally). There was a female pilot on the Zeon side though- the turncoat who sold them out near the end.

Also, one of the two main pilots (the Gundam's test pilot) in 0080 was female.

I don't know if this should properly give her pilot's stripes, but wasn't she remotely piloting a whole squad of them at the end? Been a looong time since I watched the show, though.

Heh, well... nah I'll just let you watch it. You'll understand what we are talking about. At the time Turn-A was made there was some huge backlash due to it combining things that never should have been combined (according to the UC/AC purists). I feel it's a solid series and entertaining for what it does.

Turn A rocks, Shimauma, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It also features what I personally consider to be Yoko Kanno's best score to date. I'm just sad that Tomino wasn't able to go all out and fold in some of his non-Gundam stuff as well like he wanted to. Y'know, just to up the ante a little. As well as the potential for ridiculous destruction (i.e., the Ideon Gun). :P

No, for that you will have to wait until I make Sunrise anime MY Gundam series.

Which will feature character designs by Carnelian.

Oh for sure. And to add extra weight to the "Lacus counts" theory, she is a playable character in Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2.

Aha! That's the remnant of a memory I had of Dorothy in a Gundam. And I had completely forgotten about Hilde (duh!) and Sally. :sd:

I usually rewatch Gundam Wing every year or so.

It's still my favorite Gundam series, especially after reading the Episode Zero (manga). It fills in a lot of the plot holes (character's pasts) and is cannon to the series and movie.

I'm trying to imagine what a Carnelian Gundam would be like. Obviously lots of LGBT subtext. She would probably love to do it... just to mess with people's heads.

Here's what I have, using a previous list of fighter-type pilots of mine, plus contributions here, Gundam Official (http://www.gundamofficial.com/), Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Gundam), and for Victory Gundam, Tyrenol (http://www.mania.com/aodvb/member.php?u=21296)'s Refugee Camp Vs. Beady-eyed Empire! (http://www.geocities.com/tenou_clock/Victory.htm) page (site link (http://www.geocities.com/tenou_clock/)), since I could not remember the name of the third replacement Shrike. Note that I used Gundam Official's spelling for names (where available), followed by Wikipedia's; I've also used the full official English titles of series. The list is in ascending absolute alphabetical order by series, then by the characters' family names (or personal names, where their family name is unknown).

I'm still missing information on Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO characters, especially this one (http://www.msigloo.net/ch/chara11.html).

Interestingly, I can't think of any dedicated female Gundam pilots seeing actual combat in the UC series. Sure, the chick in 0080 was a test pilot and Fa piloted a unit for parts of Zeta (or ZZ, I forgot), but I just can't recall any female Gundam pilots constantly headed out for battle.

*Wait! Do Four and Plu-1/2 count because they were the Psycho Gundam pilots??

Of course, if non-Gundam robot pilots count, then there are plenty, with my favorite being Hamaan in her Quebly.
