Check out the release date.
As the news article states I hope that this also means that remastered Beatles will finally become available in iTunes.
Which means that remastered CD's, hopefully containing both Stereo and Mono versions, will become available. Will I double-dip? You bet your arse!
A Splendid Time Is Guaranteed For All!
Check out the release date.
Number nine? Number nine? Number nine? All right.
…
I haven't been into the Rock Band games yet. It'll change. I'll have the full set this time around. And when the remastered CDs are out, I'll be ready. Especially if one of the offerings is a version of Let It Be that's de-Spector-ized without being jiggered around too much.

Kiggy you do know that we have a game section on this forum, right?
If The Beatles don't have appeal beyond the Gaming forum, AOD has serious problems. :P

That's not it I'm just saying since it coming to RB then it's more game related. Now if it was a band that was doing a tour called Rock Band and it was sponsored by EA then it should be here. Really it's more on what's going to be on RB which is a game.

If it's just and necessary then, by all means, move this thread to the Gaming Goodness Forum. I would if I could. :sdsmiley:

It is NOT coming to Rock Band. You need to buy a NEW Beatles RB edition to play this.
Beatles: Rock Band & it's DLC not compatible with other Rock Band games and vice versa.

Sides from what I can tell of these games... it's Simon Says.
Music plays in the back ground and you get colored sequences and you have to match em up with your "instrument" buttons. It's freaking Simon Says but sequenced with music.

What else did you expect? That how Guitar Hero and Rock Band have always been. Hell, that's how most rhythm games are.

yes which is why for the life of me I cant understand why these games sell...
its simon says!
I guess the only reason I can think of is that its for wannabes... those who can do etc... and these games are P.E.
live the dream that your a rock star/musician by playing simon says to music yeah!
i'd rather spend the time and money to learn to play a real instrument if I wanted to play an instrument. which is more cool? knowing how to play a real instrument or knowing how to play a pretend instrument?
I guess that could be true of most if not all video games. It's probably just me.
But anyway... since the content cant be shared across games... isnt this a money grab? it would suck even more if they made you buy Official Beatles instruments as well to play this.
First thing: It's not Simon Says. SS demands that you memorize a pattern and repeat it after it's done, not play along with it. You, Rhodes, just reacting to pretty colors. It's a rhythm game which can be played even if you don't have have the songs memorized but do have decent reaction abilities.
Second thing: A complete Rock Band game costs, what, $200? I defy you to find a drum set, a guitar, a bass, a microphone, and amplifiers for $200.
Third thing: These games are for people who aren't really fussed about learning how to play an instrument in real life. They're for people who want to have a good time. If you can't have a good time without putting in the months or years of practice on a real instrument, then you're in the wrong thread, bucko. :P
