Dragon Ball Kai Trailer Sneaks Out Early

April 5th can't come soon enough for the Dragon Ball Z fan when Dragon Ball Kai debuts in Japan. This is the Japanese HD remaster of the series done at about 100 episodes (the original ran for about 291 episodes) which promises extended scenes and a streamlined execution of the property for it's 20th anniversary. The trailer has appeared early online which you can see below.

Chris, just a quick correction. The actual episode count for Kai hasn't been stated anywhere officially. The only thing Toei has confirmed is that it will "develop more speedily," everything else has been speculation.

I actually participated in a podcast (http://db.schuby.org/daizex/viewtopic.php?t=9983) over at Daizenshuu EX (http://www.daizex.com) with regards to the information about the series that we know so far, as well as speculation about the process Toei is using to make the series HD and how it compares to FUNimation's somewhat similar efforts. It's worth a listen if anyone is interested.
