Galaxy Angel (S) order/relations

So i was wondering if there's any order to watch Galaxy Angel. I guess the order in which they were released is best (Original, Z, A, AA, S, X and Rune wherever after the original) but is there any point to it? Like can they be watched randomly just as good?
Currently i've only seen the original, though i own them all except for X which i'll get during the current Bandai sale.
I was thinking of watching S with a friend tonight. Is it a bad idea for either of us at all (i who've seen the first series only and my friend who hasn't seen any of GA)?

I don't think it matters, really. I've been watching them out of order (still haven't seen Z, S or Rune yet) and it doesn't hurt the continuity at all. Because basically, there isn't any. :) Characters often get killed off in one ep only to turn up alive and well in the next one, for instance. That sort of thing happens all the time in these shows.
I started with A, then watched the first series, went on to AA with X after that, (which I haven't finished) and I'll go on to S and Rune when I'm done with that lot. I'll watch Z whenever the collection I recently bought arrives in the post.

It really doesn't matter. Even the first and last episodes of the various seasons are no different than the episodes in the middle of them.

It's easiest to think of Galaxy Angel as a Looney-Tunes-esque ensemble variety show.

Just watch it in the order it was originally released: 1st, Z, A & AA, S, X.

Not because there's a plot to follow - there isn't, at all - but because there's no convincing reason to do anything else. Also, you get to start with the base cast and add on characters as you go, rather than meet the characters when they're already there and then go watch an earlier season without them. Watching 1st first would also make sense because you at least get to see where they all meet Milfeulle in the beginning.

It's not like it matters how Milfeulle met all the characters, though, because that's promptly tossed aside come the next episode anyway.

Alright, thanks guys. I did say i watched the 1st season myself already anyway...I do know it's all random but was just wondering if there was any more-or-less important reason to try and keep an order. Since not i could watch S tonight. But for that very same reason, i can also just go on and start Z...whether my friend see S or the first few eps of Z probably won't be much different for him. And i keep the continuity. So yeah, guess i'll get to Z later tonight! :cool:
