What car would they drive?

Yeah, I had this idea after looking at the "If anime characters were a band" thread...

Anyway, I think Yue would drive a small car like a Cappuccino. Anything that fits her stature. :P

(Note that this is sort of ignoring the fact that some characters are not old enough to drive)

Yukari Tanizaki (Azumanga Daioh) apparently drives a Toyota Corolla, according to Wikipedia. I think she's more suited to a bruised and battered 1993 Plymouth Duster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1993_Plymouth_Duster_green.jpg) though. :sd: Or maybe a Yugo. ;)

Yukari was the first person I thought of too. Her driving is legendary for better or worse. Yui nee-san from the epic InitialD parody in Lucky Star is pretty memorable too. Oh, and Kotomi from Clannad in her Beetle convertible. :)

As for imagining who would drive what, that is harder. I tried to picture which characters would drive what I drive (an Impreza) but couldn't come up with any names really.

I always thought that if Belldandy ever decided to get out of Keiichi's sidecar and onto the seat of her own motorcycle, it would be a Sunbeam S7 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunbeam_S7_and_S8).

- Vash the Stampede would probably drive a heavily-polished, highly-tuned, bright red... Volvo station wagon. Bright, flashy, shiny, but safe and unassuming in appearance.
- When Chiyo-chan grows up... Fiat Nuova Cinquecento. Her family's rich, so it's a rather expensive economy car, but still adorable.
- Salaryman Kintaro... VIP-style V36 Nissan Skyline coupe... high-class and professional-looking, but with the ability to be a hooligan vehicle.
- Ran Kotobuki (after the end of the manga)... Nissan March patrol car with trendy visual accessories on it
- Asuka Langley Sohryu... red BMW 635CSi (E24)

I can see Eikichi Onizuka driving a vintage American Muscle car or pony Car, such as 1960's or early 70's Pontiac GTO/Chevelle SS, Mustang or Camaro.

Tomo: She's got to drive something loud and brash, so why not a Hyundai Genesis Coupe tuned by HKS (http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/03/sema-preview-hks-hyundai-genesis-coupe/)?

Sakaki: As much as I think she would be devastatingly sexy on something like a Voxan Charade (http://www.voxan.com/voxan/gamme_charade.asp), I'm thinking she would probably go for a new Fiat 500C (http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/16/fiat-500c-leaks-out-ahead-of-geneva/) because it's so darned cute.

Yomi: She acts like the sensible, common-sense one of the group, but she's got a sly sense of humor and is far sexier than she realizes. I'm thinking the Ford Taurus SHO (http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/11/officially-official-2010-ford-taurus-sho/) would suit her.

Kagura: She's the sporty one of the group, so she needs something athletic and strong. I think she'd look good in a Jeep Cherokee SRT8 (http://www.autoblog.com/2009/03/16/review-2009-jeep-grand-cherokee-srt8/).

Osaka: It's hard for me to even imagine Osaka driving a car, but if she did, it couldn't be anything normal. It has to be something old and neat, like the Isuzu Bellett (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isuzu_Bellett).

Koarin: I see Kaorin being an OL once she gets out of college, so she needs to drive an OL's kind of car, like a Daihatsu Trevis (http://www.daihatsu.com/catalogue/trevis/index.html).
