Paul Bettany joins PRIEST film

The Hollywood Reporter tells us that the film version of Tokyopop's Korean import 'Priest' may have found its leading man in Paul Bettany.
The actor is in negotiations to play a warrior priest in a world overrun in a war on vampires. Bettany's character goes rogue when a band of bloodsuckers kidnap his niece and he embarks on his own quest to retrieve her.

The actor seems to be becoming a staple of religious-themed movies...

That doesn't sound much like the manwha (sp?) that I remember reading.

And why hasn't there been an animated version yet? I would think it'd be better suited.
