View Full Version : Mini-Skirt Uchū Kaizoku novels to be Adapted.

According to ANN (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-03-31/mini-skirt-uchu-kaizoku-novels-reportedly-to-get-anime) the "Mini-Skirt Space Pirates" light novels are going to be adapted into an anime series.

The story sounds really interesting. However, at only two volumes long at the moment, I doubt we will get anymore then 1 cour at this point. I'm also reserving my expectations for this until we hear the staff and animation studio details.

Has anyone here read these novels?

That sounds awesome. (So it will probably end up being an incredibly mediocre anime... but I'll at least pretend it will be awesome until I have undeniable proof to the contrary!)

Hopefully we're not going to get a meeting along the lines of "No need to worry about story, characterization, etc. The Space Pirates and Miniskirts are all we need".

I know nothing about this but the name is great.Lets just hope that it is an all female (or good trap) crew.I do not want Space LongJohn Silver in a mini-skirt.

You feel that way now, but how will you feel when you realize the full title is "Mini-skirt Space Pirates with beards and potbellies"? :P Heh, I wonder if anyone will believe that.

Yup, same here. Saw the title when it was announced on ANN's feed, thought about it for a second to translate it, and then said, "Yup, I'll be watching that on title alone."

Though now I'm worrying about the potential trap content too. :sd: Though maybe if that's the case we'll get one as awesome as Mako-chan (and a R-Trap counterpart...).
