Maybe it was just the particular time I was streaming it, but it went a lot faster this week. I didn't have to stop to let it finish loading at all.

It took a only a couple of minutes for the episode to load for me (last week it took over 2 hours)! I thought it was a great episode. It's been a while since I've seen the original, and while I LOVED it, I love this new version as it is giving me a new appreciation for the story and characters. Kind of like having the two versions. Only 2 eps in, so it still remains to be scene if this new version will live up to expectations, but I've been very satisfied so far.

While I already knew what was going to happen, it was interesting to see this new version of events. The danger of a remake being made so close (relatively) to the first one is that people remember too well what is going to happen, removing any chance of surprise, but I think the new version right now is doing a pretty good job of overcoming that potential problem by just doing what they need to do as best as possible.

I think I'll be continuing for the moment.

Well it seemed to be loading faster this week for me but it still isn't a 1/4 loaded and I've been at it for a 1/2 hour :-| . Still, I don't think it helps that I have to start doing this at 5:30 PM CT on Thursdays either. My guess is I start loading it when a lot of other people do (when we all get home from work) and that is part of the problem with the slow load times. Still, if it loads faster than 4 hours (last weeks load time) then it will be an improvement :laugh: .

Well I thankfully have had no trouble with load times or buffering on this one.

Overall a good episode.

Well it took me two hours to get it all buffered in - down from the four hours last week. So it's better but it's still a pain to try and watch it during "rush hour" (afterwork the day they post it).
