Previously the only release on HD was HD DVD. Now if this BD has the same unique-to-Japan, more accurate, English subtitles as the HD DVD, I'll be very happy. :sweat:

So ADV has rescued the modern Appleseed movie Geneon previously had. There is already a Japanese BD release for Appleseed, but it has no English translation in any form.

What chances are there that ADV will release a sub & dub BD version here? Maybe it will be their first BD.

Considering the one BD they were soliciting awhile back and then pulled with no reason given, I wouldn't hold my breath. Heck, who knows if ADV's DVD will even feature DTS audio...

Truly didn't make sense. Geneon Universal owns the subtitles. They could have easily put those on it.

Got mine in the mail, anyone else? The rear cover shows 2.1 & 5.1 but I don't know the audio languages.
