Hanamaru Kindergarten is the name.

Seiji Mizushima (FMA, Gundam 00) is directing.

Now if you excuse me, I've got to find a way out of this twisted dimension.

This will be a cute way to pass the time or it will end up being an annoying waste of time.

So they decided to tackle something completely different for their next TV series project. The gut reaction when I saw the picture in the ANN article was a big fat groan. However, this could be fun if more of the emphasis is placed on the teachers rather than the little kiddies.

This can only end well. But the question is how?

More "research (http://www.square-enix.co.jp/magazine/yg/download/wp/46_1280.jpg)" provides a bit of comfort. This should be fun.

Viewers beware; this will kill you with cuteness.

I read a few chapter of this a while ago and it's just so very cute. Seeing Gainax and FMA/Gundam 00 director doing it is very weird indeed. I just hope they don't get too original with it.

EDIT: Also, by looking at the stuff in his blog (http://hanamarublog.blog115.fc2.com/), the author, Yuuto, seems to be a Lucky Star and K-ON! fan. A Mugi-chan sketch here (http://hanamarublog.blog115.fc2.com/blog-entry-41.html).

Ah, and an adorable Ritsu image in the top entry. :)

Gainax doing a cute, comedy series sounds nice. Petite Princess Yucie is still my favorite from them, after all. This might turn out to be rather interesting.

Somehow the words "Gainax" and "slice of life" didn't really jive with me (probably because they haven't made a lot of slice of life anime), but this sounds interesting nonetheless.

It's nice to see Gainax try out something different. I read the first few chapters of this a while back and remember it kind of came across like Kodomo no Jikan light (by light I mean minus the sexuality).

Hey, it's Nyamo! =P And the chibi forms of the characters look like a family of Potemayos.

I saw the announcement about this earlier and was quite happy. Two of my favorite things, Slice of Life and Gainax, in one package? Damn straight I'm gonna watch it! :relief:

Well I'll give it a shot. Can't say I'm expecting much out of it, but that maybe a good thing.

Let's hope those five get a good amount of screen time.

Ah, it's nice to know that the author has good taste.

Petite Princess Yucie was definitely one of the better Gainax series. We'll see if this show also ends up being one of them. Knowing me, I'll probably try out an episode or two.

This will either be groundbreaking or another dubious loli barrier broken.
