In Summary:

The focus is firmly on Claudio this time, as we see how he met Furio a long time before either worked at Ristorante Casetta dell'orso. It apparently was not an easy path for the young Santo Claudio Paradiso when he was first working to become a cameriere. The price for making mistakes could be quite high. In the end, however, Claudio managed to find his place in the world and gain the confidence and attitude necessary to become a respected figure in his chosen line of work. In the end, it's all about finding the place that best suits you. Again, it seems that the placid surface of the restaurant belies that troubled paths that these consummate professionals may have taken to get there. If you're looking for action, this is not the show for you. If you like interesting characters, you might be taken in.

I stumbled on this series last night and watched the first episode on a whim. I ended up staying up till 4:30 this morning to watch the first seven episodes (alas, 8 is only open for paid members right now). Its a quiet show and none of the characters are "beautiful boys", but its very interesting seeing how this disparate people came together in this restaurant and how the restaurant came to be. Routing for Claudio x Nicoletta though ;-)

I was actually hoping for a little more about Furio in this eps, tho it was neat to see Claudio in his younger days.

Action packed this is not, but i am enjoying the characters in this twist on the maid/butler cafe theme.
