Wow, you were much kinder with this review (and grade) than I would have been. This book was like D+ material for me -- and that's only because I liked the silliness part. I liked the ridiculousness that was their detective agency (because it was ridiculous - ha ha, cats!), but everything else was so damned boring and underdeveloped... I didn't feel like I wanted my hour back, per se, but I definitely won't read this again.

And the art... you know, I'm pretty forgiving, and your description is more than fair (like how sometimes it was just fine), but this was one of those rare times when the instances of bad form distracted me too much. The head/neck thing - there was one panel where Yasuie's body below the face looked like... like.. well, kind of like No Face from Spirited Away. I couldn't even take the sex scene seriously because of that. :sd:

I was intending to give this a C-. But I went back and read it again and I did find it funny where it should have been funny,so I bumped it up a notch

Sex scene. Pretty much one scene done twice. If there's non-con I want to see that it's non-con - don't just tell me. Sorry, that's the way I am.

What's funny is that I don't even remember that it was non-con. I don't remember any of the details really - I just know that I read it weeks ago, didn't like it and promptly forgot about it - with the exception of the "No-Face panel." That's how much it distracted me - that it's now the only thing I even remember about it? Yikes. :sd:

.. *laugh* All this talk has made me go look for the picture. It's on the top of page 76. It's like.. he has no bones in his body, or something! And where is his neck? :sd:
