Was looking to see how much they wanted for the R1 Clannad sets and found this:
http://www.amazon.com/Clannad-4/dp/B000WQ6J0M
As of this writing, Clannad R2 vol. 4 is being sold by Amazon.com (not a Marketplace seller), although it says only 1 copy is in stock.
The price doesn't look like it would be too much more than ordering it from Amazon.co.jp, so this might be useful to some (those worried about customs, duties, etc.) but I assume they don't have much of a selection.

I've actually noticed for awhile that sometimes Amazon will have import items up for sale. Granted in a lot of cases you'll get the message "This item has been discontinued by the manufacturer." and the same item will still be sold by Amazon of Japan. Which makes me wonder about that message.
In my case, I actually ended up getting a couple of import CDs through Amazon because of it. Granted I suppose if I could gather enough items together to justify it, I'd be better off using Amazon Japan.
Never mind the fact that I don't order that many import CDs and never have used Amazon Japan. So yeah go figure on that one and you can see what the exact problem is.

Yeah, I know Amazon has been selling a lot of import Blu-rays from the UK/Europe and Canada, mostly) as well over the past 6 months or so.

Pity it isn't going to happen other here - unlike import CDs which are readily available on Amazon, DVDs need to have BBFC approval.

Play.com sells import R1 DVDs (probably thru PlayUSA to the UK site)
Yes i have do not really understand this as isn't it technically illegal for a region 1 US seller to be selling another region DVDs...
