Even though I consider The History of the West Wing a failed experiment as far as storytelling goes, Guo's artwork goes a long way toward making up the book's narrative shortcomings. I'd say it's worth the premium cover price, provided you can accept the idea that you're buying eighty or so pages of beautiful color artwork that happen to have a badly-paced story attached to them.
