"Anime Expo" in URL is kinda odd...
Anyway, Mighty Media has just announced its acquisition of Spice and Wolf II, Cross Game, Slayers Revolution, Gokujō!! Mecha Mote Iinchō, Mai Mai Miracle (I can't believe this...), Saki, White Album, and Eureka Seven movie.

Heh. You guys and gals get all the good stuff. I may import Saki and White Album, if they don't get picked up in R1. Saki probably has a chance, but I doubt White Album has much of one.

In fact Saki fans are crying, fearing it might get censored (like Koihime†Musō) and/or with reduced or no goodies. Mighty is not good at keeping those intact.

I meant the kind of anime that is licensed. My tastes are out of alignment with R1, for whatever reason.

How is Mighty with artboxes? If Funi gets S&W II it obviously won't get a box, so I'd be up for importing one. Same with Saki. Looks like Mighty didn't release a box with S&W first season though, so I suppose I won't get my hopes up.

In fact they did release a box -- after the entire series, and you have to buy it separately (which surprised and pissed off many fans).

Huh, the one side is... not good, but the other two are fantastic. Doesn't seem to be at JS Mall though, so I probably can't get a hold of it.

Mine are as well, on the whole. In fact reading http://www.animenation.net/blog/2009/03/20/ask-john-editorial-what-exactly-do-japanese-american-otaku-like-about-anime/#more-15064 makes me realise I'm more Japanese-fan-like than western.
