View Full Version : Kaze no Stigma - DVD has different edit from broadcast ?
I've just got my copy of the Funimation R1 DVDs of "kaze no Stigma" parts 1 & 2, and just watched the first story arc. Is it my imagination, or do the DVDs have a significantly different edit from the original Japanese TV broadcast? The storyline is still the same but some scenes seem to be in a different order and there seem to be some 'new' scenes that I don't remember.
Does anyone know if the Funimation release is the same as the Japanese DVD release, or if Funimation edited it for the R1 release ?

I'm going to assume that Funimation's version is the same as the R2 DVDs.
No one cared about Kaze no Stigma, so as far as I know there was never a followup on the R2 DVD release.
I didn't notice any changes in the DVD's first arc from the original broadcast. Could you give some examples of things you think changed, cjed?

I never saw the original broadcast for KNS. But i highly HIGHLY doubt they edited it :)

And it was indeed my imagination - I've just watched the first two episodes in 'tandem', and they're identical. Just another sign of old age I guess :-(
