In other words, more evidence that BD/DVD release leads to an improved experience. Well, in theory anyway. I have no idea how serious my statement was.

Whats up with those shots of Lisa? They haven't occurred yet in the show....

I have no idea, but I like them. Especially the one where she's surrounded by flowers and such.

In that case, I can say with confidence that I'll love episode 5 or at least some scenes in it.

The cover for the first volume is out (http://blasmi.com/goods/dvd.html). Personally, I think it sucks. They used Luna's illustrations for the store-exclusive bonuses, but went with a generic fantasy cover for the DVD itself. I think I'll pass. Being a fantasy series, the odds are pretty good someone will pick it up for R1 anyway.

Huh, yeah that's surprisingly mediocre. I wasn't importing this one anyway (gotta draw the line somewhere for sanity's sake) but I would have expected something nicer.

I wasn't even considering this series, but if I had been, finding out that the only way to get non-mediocre art (be it coverart or on some other sort of extra) would be through retailer exclusives that I couldn't use would have been an instant turn off. I can only hope that no release I have an interest in ever pulls this crap, but I figure its only a matter of time.

It's definitely a rather basic cover. I've seen worse, but even so it's still nothing special.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced in the later half of 2010 at the earliest.

Would be a tough choice for me between the Gamers and Tsutaya artwork, if I was even in a position to choose one.
