Pretty busy month for me as my game purchases tends to go in spurts. The first three listed were bought late Sept but I'm including them as they were part of the spurt of buying.

Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box for the Nintendo DS. Still working my way through the first game so I got this for later playing.

Lock's Quest for the Nintendo DS. Bought this because I have seen a lot of great reviews for this and had recently played a tower defense game for the first time in My Life as a Dark Lord Wiiware game for the Nintendo Wii and loved it.

Yakuza 2 used for the Playstation 2. Surely I can't be the only one that bought this game just for the Mahjong bit? Not at that part of the game yet but the non mahjong parts are pretty fun so far. Had to look around a bit to find any copy.

In October

SNK Arcade Classics for the Nintendo Wii. It's a lot cheaper to get the Neo Geo games this way than through the virtual console. I might get the Capcom arcade collections for the Playstation 2 later as I saw used copies of volume 1 and 2. Amusing how it is listed as volume 1 but I'm guessing any other Neo Geo games will be on virtual console instead.

Dragon Quest Swords for the Nintendo Wii. I hear it's not too bad and I love the character designer art.

Nostalgia for the Nintendo DS. Heavily playing this right now. I'll post my impressions on the other thread when I get farther in the game but it's very much like a Lite version of the classic Skies of Arcadia game and there is a lot of homage to other games in the themes and characters.

The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road for the Nintendo DS. Had to get this because it is an Oz game and it has had good reviews too. I can only recall one other Oz game offhand and that was a SNES game, no idea if it was any good.

Atelier Annie: Alchemists of Sera Island for the Nintendo DS. Didn't preorder it so when I saw it on the shelves I went ahead and grabbed it as it seems to be a very niche type of game that would be in short supply. No idea how it plays as I haven't really seen any reviews and got just because it is a quirky RPG.

Neves Plus Wiiware for the Nintendo Wii. Was interested in a puzzle game that would only take short bits of time and this fitted the bill. Quite nice so far actually for a cheap Wiiware game.

Startropics Virtual Console game for the Nintendo Wii. This was my free NES Virtual Console game to pay back for the Opera Browser purchase.
