It's kind of depressing to remember that, when I started importing back in 2005, the exchange rate was around 125 yen to one dollar and that my purchasing power has declined ~32.1% since (not factoring in that freight and the price of goods have also generally increased). I had plans to do an order for a few CDs at CD Japan, but sadly due to various reasons including off topic ones that might not be plausible till around January at best and even then I may have to put it off longer.

However I refuse to have things be completely empty. I must get some music CD related to an anime that I enjoy quite a bit. Thankfully for me, I can get at least select import CDs from Amazon (Market Place).

Thus with just one left in stock and it being from a seller that I ordered from before, the same seller (importscds) I got the Hidamari Sketch Ending Single from, I've gone for the following.

Whether or not it will arrive in December depends on how long the shipping process takes, but at least it's ordered. On a side note, I kind of wish that the seller I had ordered the "Tainaka Ritsu" CD Single from didn't have their Store Front down. So much for the idea of using them (Music Japan) for future CDs.

It would be nice if Amazon in general carried more import CDs at reasonable prices. Or just carried more in general. It would make it easier to collect some of them. Then I wouldn't have to worry so much about juggling shipping costs, dealing with exchange rates, etc.

Here's hoping that later I'll be able to get the GA: Geijutsuka Music Palette and start collecting more of the K-ON! CDs. I need the Opening and Ending single eventually. Also, I need to stop rambling.

Yes, I was tired of playing the "Maybe" game and the "How should I order it?" game. As such I decided to just order it by itself. Sure it means not being able to spread out shipping costs and IMPO used for a single order. However I figure it this way.

First, I can pretend that 500 Yen coupon and the 300 points are being used to negate the shipping cost of "Air Mail". Second, if I'm going to test how well Air Mail works for me then it's best to focus on smaller order first. Also, it allows for a more current test run of CD Japan.

As for future orders of other CDs and possible R2 orders, I'll wait and see how things go. I'm just glad that I finally got this ordered. Now I just have to hope that it either stays in stock long enough or CD Japan will get additional stock if need be.

I got the Gundam 00 Figure: Gundam Exia Robot Spirits Tamashii figure...and will try to ignore that while fine, I got a whole lot more figure + accessories with the ZZ Zeta and Super Gundam figures few years back for not a lot more money. :sd:

Still, it does at least come with the parts to show off all seven swords (though not at once, of course).

It's per item. Charge is item cost + 33% of the total S&H cost, if it's a 3 item order. Adjust % as necessary.

Assuming 3 DVDs, that's 2300 yen S&H so it'll be item cost + 767 yen.
