Not sure what they mean by "complete"...TV+ OVA complete? or TV complete...

Judging by the time it was produced, I'm pretty sure this will be SD upscale.

More than likely, but I can imagine the audio on this would sound phenonemal in a lossless format.

I'm thinking of preordering this just to lock in the current discounted price, and THEN see what comes up in features and cancel as need be. If it turns out that it's looking less impressive, then I can say stuff it. (But, yes, the audio would be kind of awesome.)

Lossless 5.1 would be nice. I would have gotten the OVA only release but not with the TV series. Maybe they'll release it separately later.

I distinctly remember reading that the TV series was produced in HD. Never watched it myself, although I did see the OVA a few years back, and I'm pretty sure it was animated in 1:1 pixel SD.

No surprise there. Though more releases could use that little "映像はSDマスターからアップコンバートしています。" note somewhere in the release information. The guessing game sucks.

For the record, just in case anyone were giving any weight at all to my post earlier, I was thinking of Kamichu when I wrote that. I realized this when Kamichu was announced recently, was going to mention it here, but as usual I never got around to it... sorry. :)
