I want to replace Harvest Moon 64's battery. It hasn't died yet, but I want to replace it anyway just to renew it. Couple questions.
1. What is a battery I can buy off Ebay to do this? I would like a good one.
2. Where is a place I can go to get it professionally done?
Thanks in advance.

If there's one in you area, try going to an independing gaming store, they frequently do repairs of that sort. The one in my area (which is most definitely not Canada) does. In fact I saw them replacing the batteries in a whole stack of GameBoy Pokemon games just yesterday.

You can go to a local retail store and purchase a CR2032 battery and replace the battery yourself. Of course you would also need a N64 bit screwdriver and a soldering iron.

That's a guide for SNES cartridges, but the same process is used for N64 cartridges.
Personally I'd just keep using the same battery that came with it, as it should last for many more years to come. My original NES Final Fantasy cartridge is still holding my game save. :P (uses the same CR2032 battery)

Are you sure that's the right battery? Lots of N64 games use different types of batteries, like SRAM, EEPROM, etc. I believe Harvest Moon uses SRAM but I could be wrong.

Those are types of memory, not batteries.

Oh I see.
SmashingBlue, are you 100% sure the N64 cartridges are done the same way SNES ones are? See, I can't find ANY guides on how to replace N64 batteries yet there are SNES ones everywhere.

Yes I'm 100% sure.
