Very sleeper Playstation game by Polyphony Digital. It's almost like the Playstation equivalent of Star Fox, only it's short in comparison. Very tight controls and parts of the game run at 60 FPS to boot. Also, it has mechs designed by Shoji Kawamori and music that was partially done by one of the GiTS composers. I'd have to say it's one of my top mech games.

I have it...I just can't remember much-other than I ordered the fig through Previews and it never came. :anger200:

Yeah, that company can go to hell.

Oh yeah, they made figures based off it. Did you ever play the game though? :P

A bit, but I found it for $20 bucks around the same time I found Rhapsody (also for $20)and Lunar came out for the PSX so it got some play but lost out to the others...and I am not sure if I went back or not. :sd: That was a good number of years ago now and I couldn't remember I had pizza for lunch today when contemplating pizza for dinner until someone reminded me...:sd:

Had alot of fun with this when it came out back in the day, would love to see PD release a Omega Boost 2 for the Ps3, same with Konami and a ZOE 3.

Great game, though it was a bitch to play on the PS1 with its' original controller 'til I replaced it with a PS2 one. The armada battle and tunnel levels are fun to play, but that boss near the end (with the time limit) can be a right pain in the arse if you don't kill it quickly. Still haven't beaten the game either.
I have to say for a last gen PS1 game, it still looks pretty impressive even today.
