That's probably good for those who liked/support the UMD format. For me it's the worse media format since VCD.

I thought so as well, until I saw a planned release for Zombieland on UMD.

... Seems fitting, somehow.

UMDs are a lot cheaper than DVDs though clearly inferior in video quality - but might be worth it for something you're curious about that is unlicensed but not worth splashing for the DVDs of - hence why I own Amuri in Star Ocean on UMD.
Being region locked would be a problem for anyone with a US PSP though.
I have the Gunbuster blu-rays so no takers here.
