Kitty Media has sent out their new solicitations today and they've got two titles on tap for May 2010, both of which are license rescues from the old Anime 18 catalog. The return of the Urotsukidoji franchise is definitely welcome as it was the big bad show from the 90's that gave hentai the bad name it deserved from this title. We're excited to be able to revisit it...

It's good to see that the original hentai that raped the mind of US anime fans will still be available to screw up the next generation, of course that's if they haven't seen Night Shift Nurses and/or Bible Black ;)

Indeed.

Glad MB will be keeping this one in-print.

I'm a sick man as I'll be buying this...again. For like, the 3rd or 4th time. The collection will be unedited I assume? Like the Perfect Collection Anime 18 brought out?

As per the article it appears Kitty will release both the series and the 1st movie. I wonder if Kitty picked the rest of the Urotsukidoji franchise.

Holy crap. I never thought I'd see Urotsukidoji: The Movie subtitled on R1.

I've got all of the A18 DVDs, but I'll probably sell them off and buy these once the specs are final. If they include the Japanese titles and any of the extras from the recent R2 box sets, I'll only pray that Kitty has the rest of the franchise, too.

Excellent.

Though I've owned the whole CPM lineup for years, I'd gladly give it up for some properly redone editions. I don't have either of the first two movies, but do have the Parts III and IV comps that don't have any subtitles--if Kitty/MB got their hands on the whole series (and I pray they did, do, or will soon), I'd love to see proper subtitles for those parts.

Excellent! I've seen the first two movies. And I found the third and fourth on the Internet and they are sitting in my room right now, until I find time to watch them. Eventhough, I have them all, I'll still go out and buy these new releases.
