In the 3/9/2010 release of the Neon Genesis Evangelion 1.11 (http://www.mania.com/neon-genesis-evangelion-movie-111-not-alone_article_119758.html) Blu-ray release, the latest Anime Source pamphlet is included which is dedicated to just Blu-ray releases coming from the company. As with past Anime Source pamphlets, it's worth keeping in mind that none of the dates for unannounced titles should be considered solid as we've seen things slip before...

Completely forgot Funi had Eden of the East. Great to see it'll be on Blu-ray, and Cashern Sins--wish the show moved faster and was less depressing, but it should look great on BD.

More stuff on BD is always good.

Three or four of those are possible purchases, but none of them will be pre-orders (and therefore might not be ordered until well after their releases, depending upon how the RS Funi-sales line up with their dates). I just don't have the confidence in Funi's BD releases to do that any more. Reviews come first.

Since I'll be getting a PS3 on the release date of the aforementioned Evangelion 1.11 Blu-ray, which also happens to be the release date of the long-awaited Final Fantasy XIII, I'll be able to look at the Blu-ray offerings like so many other people here are. I'll be starting off Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood right with the Blu-ray versions of that. I've been meaning to get the complete collection of Black Cat for a while, so it's great to hear that I can just go ahead and wait for the Blu-ray. Although I've seen both Afro Samurais, I don't own either of them, so I may pick up that Blu-ray if people like it. I can't wait until March 9!

While you're free to to that, and I'm not judging you, keep in mind that while their upscales certainly have issues, they've given us no reason to doubt the quality of their native HD releases.

I'm more positive about their native-HD titles, but I'm not certain which ones aren't/won't be upscales. Is Funi guaranteed HD masters for those that have them, or will the Japanese be too stingy? I've only purchased one Funi BD release, and that one was an upscale with a very badly-handled opening (FMP!TSR). Most of the BD-reviewing comments that I've seen so far for Funi have been of the "okay" to negative. What have they gotten high marks on so far? I don't _generally_ read reviews for titles that I'm not interested in, so I don't know how they've handled AfroSamurai and a few others... They haven't been removing detail from their native-HD releases, as they do with others?

I thought FMA Brotherhood was already stated to be in May??

Not trying to be a dick at all, but good luck finding one. PS3s sell out in less than a day whenever they come in, and it is usually more than a week inbetween shipments.

The last time I went to the city I'm going to be getting it in, there were PS3s in stock at all the stores I checked. That would really suck if they were sold out, though. I should think of an alternative, just in case. Thanks for making me think about that.

Eden of the East and Casshern Sins are both definite for me though with Casshern being released in parts, I may wait for a complete set depending on price/budget. I'm going to wait for cheaper re-releases of FMA: Brotherhood.

Now if we could just get Ergo Proxy and Le Chevalier D'Eon on Blu-ray, that would be great.
