IIRC I think it's the same cover art that Softcel used when they had it.
A pass for me since I already have the release by Critical Mass.

Its so dull, not that a girl being mauled by some plant thing is dull, but it doesn't evoke any emotion, just meh.

I can't imagine that there's much in the licensing package that's been passed around over the years that would be a useable alternative. There's always the idea of trying to license additional artwork, but who would want to pay the extra money, even if it was available?

Kind of misleading, because as I understand it, Rei Rei is primarily not a tentacle rape series. If I remember correctly from my Ye Olde 1997 Anime Guide, Rei Rei is some kind of Freudian analyst/sex goddess who helps people with their problems. One case does involve tentacles, though.

Wow, has anybody checked to make sure they didn't mislabel a La Blue Girl cover? Because that doesn't look like what I remember of Rei Rei at all, though I'll admit to not having seen it in a couple years...

I like the Critical Mass cover (http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalogmgr/16j6C5Jg7sIQUxgiX8/browse/item/69344/4/0/0) much better!
