Just as a reminder to our older posters, and a notification to our newer posters, the AoD section of Mania.com does NOT participate in the posting of April Fools news. As there are bound to be tons of posts with false "news" out already or coming soon, please be cautious of anything you see. In addition, anything regarding this day's "news" that is not verifiable, please post to this thread, as this is the collection for it. Thank you for your consideration.

Thanks for creating the thread. Links may be NSFW.
Canned Dogs has a pretty good list of Japanese ones (http://zepy.momotato.com/).
Some highlights include: Saber is now on Twitter (http://twitter.com/Saber_tm41). So is Shirou, but no gives a crap about Shirou. The main page has more (http://www.typemoon.com/main.html), but some people, like Rin, are being tsundere and not posting anything.
Alcot, publisher of My Girlfriend Is The President, is releasing the Disappearance of Ouhama Yukino (http://www.alcot.biz/main.html).
Queen's Blade has a theme park (http://queensblade.net/queensland/).
Angel has been renamed to Angel Eats (http://www.angelbeats.jp/). Maeda is now offering recommendations on bentous.
Railgun has taken over Sakure.ne (http://toaru.sakura.ne.jp/).
Dorubako! looks nothing like K-On!. (http://dorubako.jp/event/aprilfool/index.html?apn=homesp01)
OtoBoku gets a live action adaptation. (http://www.caramel-box.com/index2.html)
And lastly, Key continues their tradition of being a poopy-head and making a real announcement about Re-Write on April first: it will be 18+.

In the "filed under lame" department, Ken Akamatsu's annual April Fools joke this year is basically him suggesting that the Negima manga is going to end this summer.
Sorry, but the Negima/Hayate crossover joke a couple years ago is a way better prank than what was pulled off this year.

Pretty much as a rule April Fools jokes that try to sound serious kinda suck. It's much better for it to be obvious it's a joke, but still really funny. The ones Draneor posted were really good.
And damn I love that image of Saber used in the twitter background.

The comments are great too. She's constantly talking about food. Her last comment was about taking a bath.^^
Oh, and Rin finally started posting (http://twitter.com/rin_tm41).

The Type-moon and Queen's Blade are my favorites so far - I laughed out loud at the the last picture on Queensland's page regarding the 'stage show'.

99.99% sure this is a joke like the Tsukihime thing a couple years ago. Hen Da Ne is claiming they are partnering with MangaGamer to release physical copies. (http://www.hendane.com/2010/04/strategic-partnership-with-mangagamer-reached/) Hen Da Ne, inventor of the Yuri paddle, selling of doujinshi and yaoi--known to all convention-goers nationwide.
And yes. I'm still bitter about Tsukihime. There are somethings you just shouldn't joke about.

I heard Chris Beveridge is ADR-writing the half-hentai sequel to Midori days, "Hidori Days". Midori is back as an appendage again, & bald, but more concealed when not in bathrooms...

Oddly enough, it actually was a joke. So Key participated this year for once. ^^;

I could actually see this not being a joke. It's disturbingly believable.

Heh, I thought the pink background and text ("Sexy!!", etc.) seemed a little out of character for them.
Kind of neat how they tied their April Fool's joke in with a real announcement (that Rewrite will be an all ages game).

Hmm... I don't think so, actually. I knew this shop before it took off (and before the original yaoi paddle), and he was quite careful about carrying things like shota. To actually enter a commercial contract to print these... no, it's not happening.

Hen Da Ne already sells the Japanese versions of eroge though. There really isn't anything in D.C. or KiraKira that Hen Da Ne doesn't already sell (and they sell far more seedy stuff already, including loli doujin). I'll take your word about shota.
That said, it's clearly a joke because there's no way MangaGamer is going to release an English version of the original LE.
