Not really but a couple of pics of what we call (street) hawker food in Malaysia. These are food prepared by stalls set-up originally along the side streets but now they are mostly set-up in large shoplots and designated areas. The prices are generally very reasonable.

Anyway, let's get to the 2 pictures I have for now:

Char Koay Teow (i.e. Fried Flat Rice Noodles with Prawns and Cockles)

Dry Curry Chicken Noodles

Typical Malaysian hawker food. The price of each of the above is RM3.00-3.50 (approx. USD1.00). Cheap, huh? Not my fault if you feel hungry after looking at the above pictures

The best Malaysian food is hawker food. The variety available will stagger you. Not only is there Chinese hawker food, there's Malay and Indian hawker food too. Hmm... maybe I should blog about Malaysian street food in my underused LiveJournal blog and copy-paste it here too.

It most certainly IS your fault that I'm hungrier! That second dish looks wonderful!

Eh, I'll be going out for a few bites soon.

So I have to go to Malaysia to get that kind of food? Yeah, sure, why not.
