The third of the three Toradora girls I have profiled over the last few weeks, I have saved the primary character for last. Nicknamed the 'Palmtop Tiger', she has a short fuse that will light with little to no provocation, but even with her delicate temper, she is a popular character throughout the school with many admirers.

Regardless of how many people admire her from afar however, there was only one person on her mind at the start of the series. Having such a strong personality not many people befriended her in her early days, but one person approached her and told her his feelings. She turned him down, but is now living to regret that decision having come to like him a lot. The person is Yusaku Kitamura, the best friend of Ryuji - the main character.

Her own best friend and often accomplice in the series is the previously profiled Minori Kushieda. The pair are nearly unstoppable when combined, and her outward appearance changes completely when having fun with her. In contrast, she takes an immediate disliking to the other girl of the series - Ami Kawashima. Not liking her two faced nature and the way she toys with people they clash on a regular basis.

Her final relationship of the series is easily the most interesting. An accidental partnership, but one which is formed out of mutual interest. Taiga likes Yusaku, but can't approach him. Ryuji likes Minorin, but also can't approach. Through their friendships with each, they assist each other in their endeavours through their mutual friendship's with the other's interests. As they learn more about each other, they grow to depend on each other almost to a point that they become more than just partners in crime. While they have always been quick to dismiss any relationship with each other, the possibility is very possible.
