A belated Christmas doll blog post plus other pics (partial doll nudity)

I got a new Momoko doll before Christmas. She's a Holly Night doll, and I named her Jessica. I really neglected my Jessica when I got sick before Christmas, and then I continued to neglect her after Christmas. (Too much anime and video games!) Better late than never, though.

I named her after Mrs. Santa Claus from the animated Christmas special "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town." I knew I was going to name her that even before I got her.

Her outfit is simple, but that's good for her. The little silver snowflakes add just the right amount of flair. The high heeled boots look nice and warm. She wasn't wearing her hair band in her box, unlike Sea Maze. It was really interesting to put it on her. It took me a while to get it looking just right. I'm glad I did, though. It brings her bangs down a bit and covers her eyebrows some. She had a really surprised look on her face before the change, and now she looks a bit less surprised.

The bell actually jingles a bit! I wasn't sure how to pose her with it, so I thought having her hold it out front would be nice. It looks a little awkward, though. I thought she had a nice pose in the box, though. Both of her arms were behind her, and she was striking a cute pose with her standing on her toes on one of her feet.

Her hair is really cool. Wavy, almost silvery. It is long enough to cloak her upper body, too. It has a decent amout of volume. It only really gets light in one spot, and I'm sure I could even that out by bringing up more hair from the back.

As I was unpacking her, I started to remove the tissue paper under her dress. After a little bit, though, I decided to leave it on there for now. You can't see it, so why fight it now? I was afraid that the tissue paper was there to protect against staining her body, but her upper body had no protective paper and wasn't stained red when I changed her clothes. I guess the dress is safe to use without stain protection.

I've got a couple shots of Jessica in Jenny's clothes. I changed her a couple days ago because her dress is out of season.

I kept her stock boots and the bow on her head on her. I wish I could cross her legs a bit more with her boots on, but the pose as it is isn't too awkward. It also hides the fact that one boot is slightly higher than the other fairly well.

Next up is a picture of Donna from a few days after her bedtime photoshoot. I had her in the same pose and the same spot as she is in this picture, but I was concerned about her stretching out Haruhi's bra. So, I decided to let her hair cover her up instead.

She's wearing her stock panties and stockings. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics of her from a few days after this. I dressed her up in Jenny's clothes. But it was pretty close to those two shots of Jessica up above.

Finally, here is a little surprise I found out while changing my Jessica. I just had to get my camera and show you all. Check out these panties! They're adorable!

They've got little bows on the sides and little poofies at the ends. So cute! These are her stock panties. Such an unexpected little detail!
