A random blog about anime, sports, and other items I feel like talking about. The above image is an amalgamation of Hanamaru Kindergarten and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, which was displayed in the Hanamaru Kindergarten Fan Club at MyAnimeList.net (the club I'm a member in).

Character: Nana
Anime: Shugo Chara!! - Doki
Occupation: Guardian Character of Lulu De Morcerf
Age: Unknown
Personality: Boisterous and outrageous, but does show a feminine side
Voice Actress: Ryoka Yuzuki

Introduced in the second Shugo Chara series (Doki), Nana is the Guardian Character of Lulu, the Easter Corporation’s newest hire in their quest to obtain the Embryo. She has curly red hair and blue eyes. She wears a long, frilly purple dress and a purple summer hat. She bears the resemblance of a Southern belle. Nana speaks with a nagoya accent which results with Lulu sometimes speaking in the same dialect, which embarrasses her greatly. Nana’s specialty is making jewelry, which happens to be Lulu’s hobby. During Character Change, Lulu's hair clip becomes a purple flower. This allows Lulu to use her necklace to corrupt Heart's Eggs.

It was mentioned on the main forum that Nana's personality resembles that of Suiseiseki of Rozen Maiden. Watching enough of Nana, I can see the resemblence between the two characters - they both wear long, elegent dresses and act timid and shy when you first encounter them. But once you get to know them their true personality breaks out. While Nana's actics are not as outrageous as that of Eru (El), she's still a fun character to watch.

Nana’s voice actress is Ryoka Yuzuki, who played Temari in the first Shugo Chara series.

Nana is a barrel of laughs, she's so adorable to look at - and then she opens her mouth and you just die from laughter.

She's such a rambunctious little filly, isn't she ?

But a lot of the credit for what makes Nana such a fun character to watch has to go to Ryoka Yuzuki, who's doing such a wonderful job playing her. I'm very glad that they brought her back in the second series - she did a great job playing Temari, and it's clear that she's having a lot of fun playing Nana.
