Christmas Comes Four Days Early

Xmas doesn't take place until Friday, but already, I've already began getting a number of things.

-Due to the blizzard that happened this past Saturday, federal government had the day off today. Hence, I don't have to work today. While the only downside is that I'm not going to have that much money in the paycheck that I'll get in two weeks (when compared to my usual paycheck), that means I'm able to get a few things earlier than expected.

-Nintendo had a lot of good things available to download today, with Super Smash Bros. finally coming out for the Virtual Console in the US, and Dragon's Lair coming out for DSiWare.

-After months of waiting, my eBay order of plushies of Yui and Mugi from K-On! finally arrived in the mail today (with that being the first of three items that I'm expecting from overseas in the next few weeks). Here's a picture of the two, for those who are interested:



-With my PS3 system starting to develop problems whenever I play a disc-based game on the system, I had to pick up a new PS3. With my father having a dentist appointment today, my mother and I decided to pick up a new system while be was getting his teeth repaired. Since I purchased an extended warranty for the system when I purchased the PS3 last year, I was able to get a new system with the only thing to pay for being another extended warranty. The only problem: I'm gonna have to redownload all the games and add-ons that I had on the old system.
