End of 2009 Figurine Blowout Part 1

At long last, all the December pre-orders that I had made on HobbyLink Japan are finally shipping. Today, the first of three shipments arrived in the mail today. In this first shipment, I received a figurine on Rei (from Neon Genesis Evangelion) in a dark cherry "racing queen" outfit.



Yeah, I'm not really a big fan of Evangelion (you can easily blame that on a certain invertebrate pilot). However two things interested me in picking this figure of Rei up:

1. I'm like cute girls in sexy outfits.

2. I'm the type of person who prefers "alternate color" outfits.

Besides, I've been interested in collecting at least one Evangelion figurine for some time thanks to the figurines of Rei and Asuka in sexy neko outfits, so seeing another sexy figurine of Rei definitely attracted me.

I'm expecting the next two figures to come later in the week (hopefully both will come by Thursday, so that way I can write about them before Magfest).
