Yesterday, I decided to sign up at the Capcom Unity web page. I'm still getting used to the site, but I'm learning how things work there (i.e. how to get Unity Points). Among the things that I've been doing on that site so far is checking out the message boards, and there was one thread that interested me so much, that along with posting my comments about it on the board, I also decided to share my thoughts about it here.
Basically, the thread that interested me (which can be read here
) suggests a "what if" idea for a Capcom "all-star" fighting game featuring only female characters. Thinking that would be a good idea for a future Capcom video game, I decided to think up some characters that I could appear in this type of game.
When it came to coming up with an inital roster idea, I set myself two rules to allow a variety of games to be represented in this fighting game idea:
1. When it comes to the two big franchises (Street Fighter and Darkstalkers), I limited myself to just three characters.
2. With the exception of one franchise, all the other titles are limited to only one character idea.
However, since this a preliminary list, I've allowed myself to accept suggestions for other characters in the franchises that I've used so far to make my character roster idea.
So, without further ado, here's my preliminary idea of a possible roster for an all-female Capcom fighting game
Other Capcom Fighting Games:
-Rouge from Power Stone
-June from Plasma Sword
-Hinata from Rival Schools
-Tessa from Red Earth
"Vs. Capcom" Vets:
-Roll from Mega Man
-Tron Bonne from Mega Man Legends
-Jill Valentine from Resident Evil
-Saki from Quiz Nanairo Dreams
-SonSon from Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Other Capcom Franchises:
-Nina from Breath of Fire
(as for which one, I'd go with the one from the original game)
-Regina from Dino Crisis
-Franziska from Phoenix Wright
-Kaede from Onimusha
-Sylvia from Viewtiful Joe
-Amber from Crimson Tears
-Amaterasu from Okami
(yes, I have a wolf as a character in a possible fighting game idea)
Comments and other suggestions are welcome:
