Special Unit - Valsion
Divine Arm, Hyper Beam Cannon, Cross Smasher, Psycho Blaster
After completing the Valsion, Bian Zoldark decided to give one to his daughter, however she felt the original design for the Valsion series was ugly. So Bian redesigned the machine to fit her taste, resulting in the Valsione. The Valsione uses much of the same technology as the Valsion, but somewhat scaled down. As a result, its less powerful, but far more maneuverable.
Lune Zoldark spent several years in high-gravity habitats near the Jupiter Helium-3 mining and refining stations, where she also trained extensively in several martial arts, and in a number of different schools of the sword. To take advantage of this, the Valsione is piloted using the Dynamic Motion Link system, which precisely replicates the movements of the pilot. Its a very specialized form of piloting, but fits Lune perfectly.
Lune and the Valsione missed the DC War, she arrived from Jupiter shortly before the White Star arrived in the Earth Sphere. She quickly joined forces with the Hagane and Hiryuu Kai, despite them being responsible for her father's death, since he'd confided his plans to her. She also struck up a close friendship with Masaki Andoh, pilot of the Cybuster.
The Valsione's default equipment are the Divine Arm, a sword made of a special alloy that gives it unparalleled sharpness and the Hyper Beam Cannon, a very powerful energy weapon. The Vaslione is also capable of performing the Cross Smasher, a devastating attack borrowed from the original Valsion. However its signature move is the Psycho Blaster. The Psycho Blaster forms a field of energy in the area around the Valsione, and damages any enemy units in the vicinity, but has the unusual ability to avoid damaging friendly units that are in the field of effect. Very few MAPW weapons are capable of this, one of the only others being Cybuster's Cyflash ability. Its speculated that the Psycho Blaster was created using data that Shu Shirakawa brought back from La Giars, though why none of the rest of the Vaslion series are equipped as such remains a mystery.
After the end of the L5 campaign, Lune took the Valsione to Mao Industries on the moon, where it underwent general repairs and retuning, and in the process its exterior appearance changed markedly, however its overall performance remains the same.
