But while I have your attention, I see that the great Jane Russell died yesterday. Surely one of the sexiest women in Hollywood history, and a perfect comic partner to Marilyn Monroe: while Monroe was an almost supernaturally sexy ditz, Russell was a more streetwise version, almost like a clever big sister--and with one of the most amazing figures ever seen in the movies.

Here she is doing an impersonation of Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

So if I did the calculations right, at the rate of one part a day, it will take between 380 and 381 years to finish this.

Has someone discovered the secret of immortality? Would he like to share with the rest of us?
