	I think he was the purest drum soloist. Many others break too readily into something too abstract from the piece, but Morello's driving style always holds me in rapt attention--and I'm not a big fan of drum solos. Maybe it was just the experience with Brubeck and the unusual time signatures, but he got it, man.

	Dave Brubeck couldn't have done "Take Five" if he didn't have Joe Morello's precision-like drumming. You want to hear amazing? How about Joe's drum solo from "Unsquare Dance" in 7/4 time. Without drums.
