Besides delving into the world of the AoD blagosphere, I've also recently been importing more anime blu-ray from Japan (more on that later). So, I have to start playing catch-up on some already released series before they get harder to buy.
One of them is Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun). Between Amazon, Play-Asia and HMV, I was able purchase the whole series (8 volumes) and the rather cute OVA all on Blu-Ray.
Since I was late to the party, I bought a mix of limited and regular edition (I didn't really care as long as I had the whole series). I knew I was getting the artbox that comes with vol. 1, but I didn't realize that I would be getting the second artbox that comes with vol. 5. Score, when I opened my package a few days ago. There is one problem though and the picture below will illustrate.
Yea. The artbox was made to house the DVD sized cases of the limited edition. So, a slight problem trying to house the whole collection. Instead, I have vol. 1-5 in one box then vol. 6-8+ova in another box and another disc to fill up the space.
Oh well...at least I have the whole collection on BD.
This will be the first of unboxing or just writing about a series I have recently bought post. Next up, Yosuga no Sora v4.
