Even though I don't follow NBA basketball anymore (thanks to a certain event that happen on July 9, 2010), I can't ignore what's been going on with the Cleveland Cavaliers lately. With their 103-94 loss to the Detroit Pistons last night, the Cavs lost their 26th straight game. Not only is this a new NBA record for futility, it also tied the record for most consecutive losses in professional sports, which was set by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1976-77.
