End of 2009 Figurine Blowout Part 1

At long last, all the December pre-orders that I had made on HobbyLink Japan are finally shipping. Today, the first of three shipments arrived in the mail today. In this first shipment, I received a figurine on Rei (from Neon Genesis Evangelion) in a dark cherry "racing queen" outfit.

More Overseas Goodness

Today, the second of what now appears to be four packages that I'm expecting from overseas in the next few days arrived.

This time around, Hobbylink Japan was having an "end of the year" sale on their site, with numerous items having their prices slashed for the sale. During this sale, I ended up ordering two of the figurines that were on sale, and today, both of them arrived in the mail.

A Preview of What I'm Expecting in the Next Month

Today, the second in a series of figurine orders that I made on Hobbylink Japan came in the mail today. This time around, the figure is part of Wave's "Beach Queens" series of figurines.

For those who aren't aware of this, the "Beach Queen" series is a series of figurines by Wave that depicts female characters from various anime titles in their swimwear. When it comes to this series, I've ordered three of these figurines (all from different anime titles, BTW)....

A Pre-Anime USA Figurine Purchase

I know that Anime USA is a couple of weeks away, and I'm trying to save up money for the convention and the subsequent Black Friday sales (please, no more Buy 2, Get 1 Free video game sales).
