Anime/Manga - The Little Things That Come to Mind

I'm a very thoughtful person. Well, I think a lot at least.

This means that my mind is often preoccupied by many, many thoughts during the course of the day. It gets very distracting, to say the least. Hopefully, this will help as some sort of outlet. Maybe.

In reading some of the more personal blogs, I've become even more aware of what a sorry state I am in. At first I found it kind of odd when people only 6-7 years older than me consider people like me to be 'kids'.

But then I thought about it. They have actual life experience, which I sorely lack. I almost retaliated that I was nothing like the 'kids' they were talking about, but am I really so different? In September I turn 21. I graduated almost 2 years ago, but not much has seemed to change....

While walking home from the bus stop, the legendary opening brass from "Gonna Fly Now" began blaring through my earbuds. I couldn't help but start jogging. As I did so, I began to push myself as heard the choir shout "Trying hard now! It's so hard now!" and burst into a full-on sprint at "Gettin' strong now! Won't be long now!" My timing was perfect, as when I reached my destination the part of the song right before the climax that plays as Rocky is leaping up the steps...

Or, How KT Needs to Get More Sleep.

My tale begins last night. A bit sleep depraved over the last couple of days, I mistakenly told someone that I was chatting with online that it was 1:30am over here as opposed to the true time of 12:40am. Fair enough, it's late.

However, the next day, on my way to the last class of the day, I walked up to room 304 to find that it's all locked up. Well, that's not right, maybe the class before was canceled and I have to stand here...

Solty Rei: A Matter of Taste

As a finished the 4th volume of Solty Rei, I was in awe of what had just happened within those four episodes. It was a very emotional, tense, and exciting experience. It's frankly the most fun I've had watching a show in a while outside of One Piece. Noein was amazing and I liked it enough, but I find characters in this show to be much more fun to follow. I had already seen Slayers once, and while Eva and Haruhi were good, they didn't live up to the hype. Although with Eva, it was probably because...

FUNimation Packaging Roulette!

...Is it just me or is FUNi constantly experimenting with packaging? They have to be one of the most inconsistent in that regard, I can never tell what they're going to do next.

It especially became apparent to me today when I went to buy something new for my collection after selling my textbooks. I decided to pick up the Solty Rei collection, which is a digipak with a slipcase. (I usually despise digipaks, but this is a really pretty one so I'll make an exception.) A few shelves...
