When the folks running the Streak for the Cash game revelaed the new format that the records will reset each month, I set a personal cap to how many losses that I would accumulate before I shut it down for the month and await the next round. That cap is 60 losses. After winning both my tennis picks yesterday, the Cardinals fell to the Diamondbacks 4-2 to record my 60th loss of the month. So with that I close June with a record of 54-60-2. Breakdown of the record by sport is as follows:

Wimbledon takes center stage on the last day of June with the men's quarterfinals. On Centre Court Roger Federer takes on Tomas Berdych and later Andy Murray battles Jo-Wilfreid Tsonga with the over/under to total games played set at 39. The other quarterfinal on the board occurs on Court 1 as Rafael Nadal and Robin Sodering renew their fledging rivalry.

The Round of 16 concludes at the FIFA World Cup with the final 2 fixtures before the quarterfinals this weekend. First at Pretoria Paraguay takes on Japan and later at Cape Town neighboring countries Spain and Portugal due battle for a spot in the quarters.
Speaking of quarterfinals, that's where the Ladies' Championship at Wimbledon are at today. The Streak board has 3 of the 4 quarterfinal matchups scheduled - Kim Clijsters vs. Vera Zvonareva, Petra Kvitova...
