"Most of the movie was filmed in 1967 but due to a lack of financing it wasn't completed until 1972 when the producers had acquired enough money to complete the film, but without any of the original cast members."

Above trivia was found in the trivia section of IDMB.

I Am Iron Man...

I caught an Iron Man sneak preview yesterday. I had a couple of reasons for going, one is that I love superhero movies and secondly, I wanted to try out a new movie theater.(More on that later)
While I was never a big Iron Man fan, I did like the Avengers comic though. My comic collecting started in 6th grade (1986?) where a friend introduced me to the Secret Wars limited series. I loved it so I collected and continued on to collect the Avengers and West Coast Avengers as I loved the idea...
